Dr. Apostolos Dimitriadis is an innovation professional with nearly 20 years of experience in strategic business development, technology transfer, and research commercialisation. He currently serves as Business Development & Innovation Manager at the Institute of Computer Science of the Foundation for Research and Technology – Hellas (FORTH) and is Co-founder and CEO of YPSILON Care Tech. Previously, he headed FORTH’s Technology Transfer Office and the Business Development Unit of PRAXI Network. He has played a key role in securing over €78 million in competitive funding for collaborative research and innovation projects, supporting the creation of research spin-offs and the development of European innovation initiatives, including the smartHEALTH European Digital Innovation Hub. He holds a PhD in Theoretical Physics from Durham University (UK). His work focuses on bridging scientific research, emerging technologies, and entrepreneurship to foster innovation with tangible economic and societal impact.
