The Foresight and Tools Unit is conducting future research on areas such as innovation and technology, regional development, societal transformations, economic growth (i.e. agri-food, tourism sector), sustainability and circularity.
In parallel, we conduct research on foresight methods and tools with a view to developing new ones or adapting the existing ones to address national and regional needs and challenges.
The Foresight and Tools Unit is leading the research activities of the UNESCO-FORTH Chair in Futures Research.
